Hey there, its been a while!
Kate (LoungeKat) has been busy being an editor on Vectortuts and I’ve been teaching and working on development for a large project.

I have been following the Australian election with a growing sense of dismay at the short term thinking of all the major parties.. what is dismaying me even more is how the leader of the Liberals Tony Abbot formerly known as the Mad Monk has re-made himself to seem stable, its crazy - hes crazy, a mysoginst, fanatic Catholic, ugh, the thought of having him as leader gives me chills.

Hey there, its been a while!
Its funny how life gets in the way, then suddenly you look around and 5 months have just slipped by.
I’ve been busy teaching, playing Tai Ji, LoungeKat and I have been adjusting to her new found freedom from the 9 to 5 grind (make that 8 - 5:30!), and planning the new entity that is McKelly.
Heres’ a new McKelly flavoured piece..

Yes, its been a while since I’ve posted anything.
I was working on a pitch for a Fu Bears game, there are quite a few previous posts with designs and animation from its’ development. That whole project went pear shaped and had to be abandoned.. goodbye 6 month of development.
As such I haven’t had that much to post about, my inspiration to rant has even abandoned me: the world is going to hell (or is already there) and our systems are so big, complex and uncontrollable that nothing can be done.
Oh well, I use Tai Ji: relax and let it go.
LoungeKat and I are developing a collaborative project called McKelly, we are focusing on what got us excited about image making in the first place, here is a piece we developed together..
There will be a few changes at bucketothought.com soon, I’m doing away with the complex site and the large shopping cart system.. back to basics.
