Hi World

Yes, its been a while since I’ve posted anything.

I was working on a pitch for a Fu Bears game, there are quite a few previous posts with designs and animation from its’ development. That whole project went pear shaped and had to be abandoned.. goodbye 6 month of development.
As such I haven’t had that much to post about, my inspiration to rant has even abandoned me: the world is going to hell (or is already there) and our systems are so big, complex and uncontrollable that nothing can be done.
Oh well, I use Tai Ji: relax and let it go.

LoungeKat and I are developing a collaborative project called McKelly, we are focusing on what got us excited about image making in the first place, here is a piece we developed together..

There will be a few changes at bucketothought.com soon, I’m doing away with the complex site and the large shopping cart system.. back to basics.

Happy Festival of Consumer Binging!

How quickly the year goes, the hordes mass at the shopping outlets for their last minute festive buying spree. It always blows me away how many people leave it to the last minute and endure the crazy time.
I did mine early and I’m hoping that I can convince my family to do away with the consumer crap and just enjoy the time together.. we will see.

I’ve been working on a few things, one being a further development of the Fu Bears concept. To make the idea more appealing we decided that one of the characters needed a sex change, and so I give you EJi as a girl, still the same knife throwing, gambling gray zone character, just in female form..

Market and things

The QV art market was on last weekend, and what a long weekend it was.. LoungeKat and I were up till 2am on Thursday evening getting things together and then we were at QV to set up by 8am on Friday. I then worked the stall until Sunday, it was a good experience but very draining.

Here is a new Photoshop painting I put together for the Fu Bears promo stuffs I’m working on at the moment..
