Its been quite a lean few weeks for me, not helped at all by the fact that my debit account fell victim to credit card fraud! Bastards stole money out of my account from Madrid for 4 days in a row and the bank never thought it was odd.. awesome security!
Anyway, my lack of “real” jobs has given me time to do some commission work, the piece was done as a Photoshop painting. Usually my digital work has a real precision to it: hand vectoring lines, separating everything out onto a million layers and being really anal about selections. I used to do allot of painting with inks and acrylics and I really like the look of digital painting so I decided to give it a go. The piece took quite a bit of work, but it was a first try and I learned allot..

I am also working with some people on developing the Fu Bears as a levels game, fun! Sooo much animation needs to be done and I am teaching myself flash - yeah I know - I should know it, when I did multimedia they were still teaching director! Its actually pretty good to use as an animation program if you have a wacom and you are drawing straight in.. almost like traditional animation, except for the wacky movies within movies thing.
