Hip Hop’s Undead!

My first submission to laFraise.
I’d totally rock this tee with sweet gold accessories and fat sneakers… Fresh!

If you want to own this tee then please show some love and vote.

Skateboard Tutorial on Vectortuts+

This news is over a month old!

Here’s a skateboard design I made for Vectortuts+, the aim of the tutorial was to demonstrate a few of the new CS4 features (Blob Brush, Multi Artboards, Scaling Patterns and Improved Appearance Panel) while at the same time addressing the technical requirements when designing for a skateboard.

The image itself is very simple, I made it this way so I could cover a variety of pre-press techniques and recolouring without over complicating the project.

This is a Premium Tutorial. Members of the Tuts+ network can download all of my source files and instructions.

Enjoy!

A mini update, or how Twitter ruined my blogging ability.

Oh man, it’s been ages since I updated my blog and I blame Twitter!

I thought I was keeping everyone clued in with my micro 140 character updates, but with Twitter gold such as OMFG #qanda” and I had an undercut in 94!” it seems less and less likely that any of you know exactly what I’m upto (apart from screaming at ABC’s Q&A once week.)

So here’s the lowdown…

Things have been super hectic in the life of Kat.
I’ve been enlisted to write for Vectortuts+, I’m running a stall with BoT at the No Vacancy Art Market, while devising a secret plan for some LK home-wares and learning more than I should know about Latex for an upcoming custom.

I promise there will be more blogging as soon as crazy time is over, In the meantime - if you’re brave - you can follow my madness on Twitter.

If you’re in Melbourne and want to buy some LK and BoT goddies please visit the No Vacancy Art Market.

No Vacancy Art Market
Where: No Vacancy Gallery, 27-33 Red Cape Lane (QV Building), Melbourne
When: 24 April – 17 May
Times: Thu-Fri – 11am – 9pm, Tues-Wed, Sat-Sun – 11am to 5pm
